Whether it’s a nasal congestion or your Twitter crush, no one likes to feel blocked. However, blocking is a coping mechanism that many of us have picked up, especially when it comes to following the guidance of our hearts.

Most of our mental and emotional blocks are fear based, which is why malachite’s deep connection to the Heart Chakra (among others) is harnessed by those working through breaking those blocks down. Opening our hearts is scary as hell, and we’ve been taught to shy away from feeling so open and vulnerable. Working with malachite is like turning on a faucet that hasn’t been used in a long time. The water comes out in spurts, and then all of a sudden it flows freely like a waterfall that even TLC would wanna chase. So be careful.

Smoky Quartz is around to ground this powerful transition, and Black Obsidian - and the lava it is formed from - is a reminder to keep letting it flow. Whatever unfolds from this unblocking is good for you, and will provide the fertile soil for a new beginning.
